## Getting started

> **Do I need to be technical to use Spyro AI?**
>
> No. Spyro AI is built for marketers, writers, and business owners. If you can use a
> website, you can use Spyro AI. The only slightly technical step is connecting your
> blog to publish articles, and we walk you through it in
> [Integrations](https://spyro.app/docs/product/integrations.md).

> **Is there a free trial?**
>
> Yes. New accounts get a **3-day free trial** that includes **500 credits** and
> **1 article** generation, so you can try the writer and other paid features before you pay.
> Unused trial credits are cleared when you subscribe.

> **How do I add my website?**
>
> You add it when you sign up. Spyro AI takes a quick look at your site to learn your
> brand, audience, and competitors. See [Set up your account](https://spyro.app/docs/product/onboarding.md).

> **Can I track more than one website?**
>
> Yes. Each website lives in its own **workspace**. The **Starter** plan supports up to
> 2 workspaces; the **Pro** plan supports up to 10 workspaces; and the **Agency**

> **How much does Spyro AI cost?**

> Starter is \$29/month (or \$288/year) for up to 2 workspaces and 4,000 credits/month.
> Pro is \$99/month (or \$990/year) for up to 10 workspaces and 15,000 credits/month.
> Agency is \$399/month (or \$3,990/year) for unlimited workspaces and 80,000 credits/month.

> **How many articles can I write each month?**
>
> Writing an article costs **250 credits**. Starter includes 4,000 credits/month (up to 8 articles/month),
> Pro includes 15,000 credits/month (up to 30 articles/month), and Agency includes 80,000 credits/month
> (up to 120 articles/month), so the number of articles you can write depends on your plan and what else
> you use credits for. The free trial includes 1 article total. See [Plans & billing](https://spyro.app/docs/product/billing-and-usage.md).

> **How many keywords can I track?**
>
> You can track up to **100 keywords** per brand on Starter, up to **500 keywords** on Pro,
> and up to **1,500 keywords** on Agency in the [rank tracker](https://spyro.app/docs/product/rank-tracker.md).

> **Can I add my team?**
>
> Yes. Invite teammates and choose what they can access. Team members are unlimited across all plans.

> **What are credits?**
>
> Credits are the currency Spyro AI uses for paid actions like writing articles, checking AI citations,
> running competitor scans, and viewing keyword analysis. Every organisation has one credit pool shared
> across all workspaces. Starter includes 4,000 credits/month; Pro includes 15,000 credits/month; Agency
> includes 80,000 credits/month.

> **What uses credits?**
>
> Writing an article (250 credits), checking AI citations (10 credits per prompt × engine, Claude 20 credits),
> Spyro AI answers (10 credits), keyword research searches (10 credits), keyword analysis (20 credits),
> running competitor research scans (150 credits per competitor), LLM mentions scans (70 credits per tracked competitor, monthly),
> rank checks (2 credits per keyword, weekly), and creating additional workspaces (300 credits, first workspace free).

> **When do my credits reset?**
>
> Credits reset monthly on your billing date.

> **What happens when I run out of credits?**
>
> Paid actions are blocked until you upgrade your plan or your credits reset next
> month. There is no self-serve credit top-up; for higher volumes, choose a higher
> plan or contact sales for a Custom plan.

> **Which AI assistants does Spyro AI track?**
>
> ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews. Spyro AI checks

> **How does Spyro AI know if AI assistants mention me?**
>
> It asks them the kinds of questions your buyers ask, then reads the answers to
> see if you (or your competitors) are mentioned. Because AI answers change each
> time, Spyro AI checks more than once and shows the result as "mentioned in X of Y
> checks" instead of a simple yes or no.

> **Can Spyro AI publish to my website?**
>
> Yes. You can connect **WordPress (self-hosted)**, **Shopify**, or a
> **webhook**, then publish articles with one click. See

> **Does Spyro AI write the whole article for me?**
>
> Yes. The [AI writer](https://spyro.app/docs/product/writer.md) researches your topic, writes a full

> **Can I connect Google Analytics?**
>
> Yes. You can connect **Google Analytics 4** to track AI-driven referral
> traffic - visitors who reached your site from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini,

## What to expect

> **How long does an audit take?**
>
> Usually a minute or two. Larger websites take a little longer because Spyro AI looks
> at more pages.

> **How often does Spyro AI check my rankings and AI mentions?**
>
> Spyro AI checks your **AI visibility** (mentions) **every week** and your
> **keyword rankings** every week. It also checks right away when you add something
> new (like a new keyword or a freshly published article), and you can run checks
> on demand.

> **My scores aren't perfect - is that bad?**
>
> Not at all. Focus on the **critical** fixes first, re-run your audit, and watch

> **How do I change or cancel my plan?**
>
> Open **Settings** and go to billing. You can upgrade, downgrade, or manage your
